the races were held at Hawkeye downs in Cedar Rapids Iowa. I do
not have the results, but Check WISL. I had never seen HPV races before
and plan to be involved NEXT year as well!!!

The races were all exceiting. Warren (shortboat) Beauchamp (Cuda w #5)being chased by Dennis Grelk (cuda #42) in the hour race on Sunday the 17 of sept. Dennis eventually won nearly lapping Warren and running about 40 mph for 1 hour. It is amazing to watch these run around a 1/2 mile track normally dominated by Stock Cars! |

A coroplast and clear 'liner. ALSO very fast. Not as fast as the carbon fiber versions, but then it is much easier to make and also less expensive. STILL an impressive vehicle to me! |
